SBRC Analytics

The SBRC has two main suites of analytical equipment mainly composed of HPLC and GC-MS systems. These range from in-line gas analysers to monitor fermentation systems in real time to highly specialist LC-MS capable of co-identifying and quantifying large numbers of analytes and metabolites.

The equipment is managed and operated by a dedicated and specialist team of technical staff.

Specific items of equipment include:

  1. GC and GC-MS Systems
  2. HPLC and UHPLC Systems
  3. UHPLC-(Orbitrap) MS/MS
  4. Waters Q-ToF Premier LC-MS/MS
  5. Triple Quadrupole LC-MS/MS Systems
